Nerve damage anyone?

I went to my doctor today after having continual side pain. It is up above my incision where they removed my right ovary. I had a CT of my abdomen and that showed nothing. My doc is stumped. They are sending me to a specialist and maybe have an EMG done? I am worried now will I have this pain forever? Hope someone knows about this. Thanks for listening.

Nerve damage anyone?

I'm in the same boat, but I'm going to see the Pain Clinic. My doc was unsure of nerve damage.

There are meds that help with nerve pain, and nerves do regenerate (although very slowly).

Hugs. I know exactly what you're going through. I've never had an EMG. Let me know how that goes.

Nerve damage anyone?

Kristy I am so glad someone has the same thing! Not glad you have pain though. I am going to a pain clinic also. They are supposed to make me an appt. and call me. When do you go to the pain clinic? I noticed our surgeries are a month apart? Where is your pain? I hope you find relief. I will let you know when I am going and if I have to have an EMG. Thanks for your post.
