3 days post hysterectomy: cervix removed- will things still be the same once released for intimacy

I was surprised I got a surge today when I read something or saw something on tv. I sorry of felt like it would be "broken" for a while. We has sex the day before my surgery. I have no cervix now (I d have one ovary) and I am wondering how it will feel when we are able, and will I want to. I also had strong uterine orgasms. I don't know what will happen now. My boyfriend and I have been together for 20 yrs and if it wasn't the same we will be ok, but I am hoping it will still be great.

It's a scary thing with this surgery, that we have no guarantees about how we will feel after, and what sex will be like. That is good that your desire is still there. All you can do is be patient and wait and see what happens, since we each have unique experiences. You will likely notice a difference with your orgasms, since you had uterine contractions with those. I also had them pre op and it's been hard for me to get used to the way my orgasms feel now. You are still very early post op, so you have a while to wait yet. Hope for the best!
