need to have a BM....having pains...

I had a rectocele repaired....the wall between my vagina and rectum was bulging into my vagina and they cut it, tied it tighter adn stitched it up! Ouch! That is what is causing me the most grief right now. I did go potty twice this AM with very little drama so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I kept my one ovary so no instant menopause. I dealt with that last year when they took one ovary and put me into chemically induced meno with Lupron....never again! UGH!!!!!!

Glad to hear that you are relived now. I found for me that if I had the urge but it just wouldnt happen - walk around until the urge became more ( and it will ) also like our other sister said - W A T E R and lots of it, even if you get sick of it just think of it as nature's free medicine for you. If you like apple cider it is that time of year for fresh apple cider too. One more piece of advice that may help - an nice warm shower and stand where the warm water hits the lower part of your back - that will help also. Good Luck to you and your quick recovery.

Worst pain ever. Drink lots of water, walk around and around. I went to health centre, was given Citro Mag. Never, ever again, 5 hours of bloating and pure pain. I think it takes time for your body to adjust to what has happened. Isn't it funny how BM's are the main topic of our conversations to everyone during recovery.
