Belly binder

Hey Ladies!!!
I have a quick question, do all hospitals provide u with a belly binder after surgery or do I bring my own. I'm having an abdominal hysterectomy. So I was just wondering??

I do not think most hospitals provide you with a belly binder. I know mine did not.

I never got a belly binder, and I never felt I needed one. I had open abdominal surgery with a 6 inch incision. Some women swear by them, so getting a belly binder is really a personal choice.

You can talk to your doctor as well to see if he or she would recommend one.
