10 days post hysterectomy: HELP in so much pain from BM straining this morning

My doctor said milk of magnesia twice a day. I haven't needed that because I really stayed on top of it but I am still taking stool softeners daily and plan to continue. When I start feeling a little backed up I add in Senna (laxative) twice a day.

Prevention really is the best for us! I am so sorry you had such a rough time.
