Waiting for a date...
I have to admit that I am not a patient person. I don't play the waiting game very well at all.
I am however pleased to announce that I advanced from my some what uncertain state and made the phone call to my docs office to begin the scheduling process. They told me that if I didn't hear something by tomorrow (2/5) then to call the scheduler to see what is going on.
I was also not really happy to have my bubble burst about wanting a LAVH, have been told that I will indeed have a TAH because of the possibility of damage due to scar tissue and what not because of the endo.
I guess in the end, I don't really care...I just want it to be gone.

Waiting for a date...
Hi
It's hard to wait once you've made the decision, you want to get it over with. But remember "the waiting is the hardest part"
When you do get your date make sure to go into your profile and add it so you'll be on the calendar and we can be sure to send you special wishes as your day approaches!
Best wishes!

Hi I also sympathize with you as I sit here waiting for surgery and I am growing in patient. But thank goodness we have one another to talk too what would I do with people like you to help me and guide me along. I am waiting to have a total hys. along with ovaries and out. So just waiting for the past month or two to build a case with our insurance incarrier. So as I wait I am in pain. When do you find out when you are having your surgery? What all are they going to be doing to you when you go in for surgery? Just know my thoughts and prayers are with you. Take care, and God Bless Bernie4177

Waiting for a date...
Waiting to get the date set is just as bad as waiting once you have it I think!! I was going crazy waiting to know when, and now I know when, I'm going crazy waiting for the big day!! I'm pleased to read that sanity does return once its done though - apart from the 'brain fog'.
I hope you hear soon

Thanks yes you are right it can drive you crazy just waiting for surgery. I am still waiting for a date and then will have to wait until the actual surgery date happens. I have been waiting for a couple of months now. So I guess everyday I need to think is a closer day to getting there. Yours is less than a month on the 3rd my prayers are with you. Thanks take care Bernie4177

You never drive anyone crazy. We all are going through the same thing. Like you said the waiting is the hardest. It seems like I can't keep my mind on things these days it is every where but where it is suppose to be. So you are not alone. I am still waiting for a surgery date. I see my GYN come the 17th of this month and we will go from there. Hopefully a surgery date as well so I can get this over with and get on with life. Easier said than done. Ha Ha
Anyway am thinking and praying for you. Feel like chatting my email is TheBernadine@aol.com God Bless Bernie
