dVH/RALH Burning sensation

Good morning was wondering if anyone experience an internal burning sensation. i am having this on my right side insision along with nausua. please tell me this is normal! I am getting nervous.

Although I had a different procedure than you, I did have that burning sensation. It was considered normal in my case. My just told me that it was my insides healing! I'm sure it is normal, but if you are concerned or it gets worse, you may want to call your doctor.

As far as the nausea, that could be a lot of things, after effects of anesthesia, pain meds, HRT...everyone is different, but I'm sure it is still normal.

Thank You Traeleigh I was getting worried if something changes I will call my Dr. My husband thinks I'm not feeling good because I'm not eating much. so he going to the health store to by stuff to make a protein smoothie. thank you for your help!

Glad I could help. Hope you get feeling better. How do you make a protein smoothie?? I still have no appetite and have lost quite a bit of weight (that I didn't need to lose) and I am worried about getting all the nutrients I need. I have tried Ensure (YUCK), and Carnation Breakfast shakes (YUCK,again), and don't really know what to do. Any suggestions?

I get protein powder at the health store then I take flavored yogurt, frozen fruit, orange juice and then blend in a blender. I have also been using Apple juice to help with bms! I really like them as when I am not feeling well I also lose lots of weight. down 7 lbs since Fri. Hope this helps you! GO MICHIGAN!!!!!

My mind was cloudy on the first two weeks. I wish I had thought of the yummy fruit shake with protein. Your recipe sounds great!

I have been making them for years and have always helped me after me after surgeries. Hope everyone is feeling better.

I'm going to have to try that....We don't have a health food store here, but wonder if maybe the pharmacy or something would have the protien mix??

Hi Traleigh, you should be able to find protein shakes at your grocery store as I have seen them there.
GO BLUE as we will beat the Boilmakers!!! Have my Michigan gear already to wear tomorrow!
