15 day post op - what's too much

I had a da vinci hysterectomy on Dec 18th. I was able to keep my left ovary...I'm very happy about that! I have been feeling great, especially compared to how I was feeling prior to my surgery. The hardest part is taking it easy.

How much it too much? I went back to work today for a half-day (5 hours), it felt good to be out of the house but I was very ready to go home at the end of that 5 hours. Is it too soon?

Did your doctor release you to return back to work so soon? I think it is too soon. Can you get more time off if you needed it?

He said that everyone is different and that if I felt up to it I could. He warned that if I got tired or uncomfortable that I should take a break and rest.

Yes, I can take more time if necessary...I was just hoping I wouldn't need to.
