Can Estrogen cause flushing/dizziness???

Started on estrogen 8 days ago and yesterday started having these weird flushing dizzy spells.... a tingling in my arms and legs and a full/dizzy feeling in my head... don't know if hormones can do this:-) Had a TAH/BSO 15 days ago.... Thanks.. Zanner

I hope you're feeling better. I don't take HRT of any kind yet, so I don't have an answer for you. Have you talked to your doctor about it? I encourage you to give your doctor a call and find out if it is related to estrogen or not.

I hope someone who has some experience with taking estrogen comes along and can share some insight with you. Please let us know who you're doing and what you find out, ok?

I do take estrogen, but I have never experienced those symptoms. I agree, you should call your Dr if you are still experiencing the tingling in the arms and legs with dizziness. Your Dr may want to rule out something potentially serious, especially since you are still recovering from surgery.

Wow.....de ja vu! Those were my symptoms when my hormones were wildly fluctuating..................either too much or too little. I've always been very sensitive to meds.

It took me a long time to get adjusted, am sorry to say. Am using the bioidentical creams with the help of a good endocrinologist that specializes in this area. Whenever I get a little dizzy or have strange tingling sensations, I get my blood tested and we adjust.

Another thing that really helped was taking an antidepressant called Lexapro........evidently, with the hormonal changes after hysterectomy, I do not make enough of my own serotonin in my brain. Lexapro helps me retain what I DO make. It helps me from having a lot of symptoms, besides depression.

Thanks to you all...Fibroid woman.... thank goodness I am not the only one...I am only three weeks out... just got final pathology report and it turns out I have extensive adenomyosis... which soooo expalins the crazy symptoms I have had for years... in addition to a softball size tumor and crazy bleeding:-)... I am only on estrogen right now.. am hoping to get hormones under control.. still having dizzy spells and weird tingling...I am only on Ibufrofen and 2mg estrogen...Thanks Zanner
