3 weeks post hysterectomy ... so much pain in rectum area and build up to toilet

On 22nd April I had a TAH and BSO which unfortunately also involved a blood transfusion. When I was discharged I had bad diarrhea and my antibiotics ran out about week last Sunday.
Had to go to doctors on Friday due to excruciating pain in bottom area, so painful I found it hard to sit down and once sat down found it hard to get up again and start moving.
Was given antibiotics which I reacted to over weekend and have now been given some different ones.
But going to the toilet (number 2) and trying to pass wind is so painful I am in tears. However once passed through I am fine.
Did anyone else have this as I 'd thought the wind would've calmed down/stopped by Now.
Just don't know what to do and whether to go back to doctors again As spike to hospital and they said just keep taking pain killers
Thank you
