Pain on my left side

I am writing this hoping someone will maybe help me. It's 3 weeks now after my hysterectomy and I was starting to feel a lot better. Suddenly just yesterday started bad pains on my left hand side. I didn't sleep at all.....I can't even describe the pain. It's also painful when I pee. The incision looks a bit swollen only on the left and it's sore. If there's anyone who experienced this lease help!!!!

Hi sis...I had Davinci LAvh the same day as you and my pain actually started a couple of days ago. It's not unbearable, but different because I felt like I was doing great then all of a sudden it hit me and I've practically been in the bed since trying to take it easy. I thought maybe I had overdone it walking on the treadmill but from reading I think it's just the week 3 curse that some have to experience. I started taking cranberry pills to help with the pressure I feel when I pee. It helped a lot! The pain I'm experiencing on my left side is what I believe to be the effects of my nerves regenerating. I'm all tingly, and tender to the touch..with some numbness. I was a bit crampy, and spotting off and on, but nothing alarming...no filling a pad or even needing a panty liner. Only seeing the spotting when I wipe. I admit I have a pretty high tolerance for pain, and high aversion to medicine of any kind so I try my best not to take any. But I have had to take a half of my 800mg Motrin twice in 3 days...and likely will have to today because I have some stuff to do. But other than that I'm back to resting more than doing. I don't know if any of this sounds like what you're going through, but even though it didn't feel like I needed to contact my doctor over the weekend...it's Monday give yours a shout if it gives you a better peace of mind! Hi Louballer, thank you so much for putting my mind at ease. I must say that the pain is so different it took me by surprise yesterday when it started. I even called the Dr's office but they said not to worry but must monitor it. I was told to also take it easy which is what I am trying to do now. I will define tell buy me the cranberry pills as well thank you for that. Other than that I think I am also doing well in terms of recovery.
