Noisy Stomach & "Insides"!

I have no idea what is going on with my insides...but my stomach & instetines (I presume) have been making an incredible amount of noise for the past month! It is to the point of being embarassing! It usually happens after I eat or drink something, however, it does happen at other times also. Sometimes, I can even feel it vibrating in my abdomen!
I am eating a healthy diet and drink 8-10 glasses of water daily. I also walk on the treadmill every day. I do take Colace daily, as otherwise, I would become constipated and I can't have that happening now that I have the Femring in! I cannot take fiber supplements since having my gallbladder out (doesn't agree with me!).
Does anyone else experience this "noisy stomach"? If so, any ideas as to what it could be or how to treat it?

I've had a noisey tummy for ever now. It growls, hums, "burps" and cranks out all kinds of innapropriate noises. Gets worse with raw veggies, but not always, sometimes nothing sets it off but it has just decided to embarass me. One doc has told me to stop gluten products, no help, another says to lay off dairy, no help there either. The last time I complained, I was told I have gas!! Needless to say, I quit complaing and decided to make funny. If it makes a noise, I politely say "excuse my protest" and move on with my business. If you find an answer, I'd appreciate some help!

Can't help too much but do know that Colace can cause intestinal contractions. I am taking this also for constipation and have those noises. For a while I stopped taking Colace and just drank prune juice and the cramps and noises left, but the prune juice alone doesn't ease the constipation as much so I am back on the Colace. Hope this helps!

I definitely have the same problem and have for years. It's sooooo embarrassing. People constantly think I am hungry because they hear this loud growl. I wish I had an answer for you . You are not alone.

Yes, I was starting to wonder about this also. Very strange - glad I can fob it off to just being hungry!! I have absolutely no more problems with constipation thanks to my surgery and havent taken any medication since leaving hospital so would also be interested to know about any solutions.
