Hysterectomy Tomorrow (3/19): Clear Liquid Diet Today- Can I have bubblegum?

I am suffering through a clear liquid diet today in preparation for surgery tomorrow. Of course, I feel like I am starving!! I want something and I have had enough jello at the moment. Can I eat a blow pop (hard candy lollipop with gum center)?

As far as I can tell no. Nothing except liquids. I'm in the same boat as you. Isn't it fun?

Well, you certainly won't be looking at jello the same way anymore ... It's 9 weeks and I can just begin to eat it again.

I think even the written materials say no gum chewing. :-) bummer! I was too nervous to eat presurgery!

I'm four days post surgery and everything tastes awesome! Hang in there - you'll be eating soon!

Try some broth with protein in it, like chicken or beef broth. It seemed to help me

I wish I had jello. All they had was red and was told no! I'm freaking starving I need
