8 days post hysterectomy: vaginal ache

I'm 8 days post total hysterectomy (everything). I'm have pretty intense vaginal aching. Taking pain meds again unfortunately. Did I over do it?

I think the only one that can answer that is you, since you know what your activity level is. I will say, however, that I've noticed my vaginal wall has developed an ache over the last 2 days. I have a tendency to tighten my muscles when I become stressed, including the vaginal muscle. There has been some family drama around here over the past 2 days. I've been focusing on relaxing that area and retreating from the drama. It can't hurt to try some focused relaxation of that area. Maybe your doctor would let you take a muscle relaxer?? That might be worth a call to her/him.
