7 weeks post-op hysterectomy kept both ovaries - pain, vaginal tearing - healing time?

My procedure was laparoscopic. The holes are all closed. I don't even have half of my normal range of motion, I swell up and have nasty pain from reclining for 6+ hrs, sitting upright for 2+ hrs, or standing for over 30 mins. There was tearing in my vaginal canal due to the size of the fibroids. Does anyone have a vague notion of heal time for this?

Each of our bodies heals on its own timeframe and will not be the same as others as it depends upon the type of surgery and what was done. Although our outsides are healed, our insides need more time. It can take a few months for the internal healing to finish. If you are experiencing aches and pains from being in certain positions for too long, switching positions often or applying a heating pad could help. If you're still experiencing sharp internal pains not touched by ibuprofen, contact your doctor. Your doc will know the questions to ask.
