One for the books...Jet Ride day before Surgery?
Okay made the call to my doc, but thought I'd also run this by my sisters. I have the opportunity to ride in a Russian L-39 Vochody Jet Fighter (think Top Gun planes)  the day before surgery.
My pre-op is on the 14th, I took the 15th off for a "me day" ... hit the beach, hike in the hills, play with the horses, something yada yada. My doc said no bowel prep so I figure it is a pamper the LIW day and chill before my trip to the castle.
Can anyone think of why I shouldn't, besides insanity? I looooooove fast and this will top the speedy cars and horse events by a huge amount. :smilie5:

 Doc called back and said go for it...he said it'd be better to do Before, since as we all know, After would be a no-no
