Home from the Castle

Hi Ladies, I came home Sat afternoon. I had my surgery Wed. the 25th. My surgery was very long . I was in the operating room for 5 1/2 hrs, as a result I lost a lot of blood and have come home very anemic. I am taking iron twice a day. Other than the very long surgery apparently I had so much endo and adhensions that the doctor could not even find my ovaries for several hours.My Uterus and Ovaries were fused completely together. Anyway I am very sore and sooo tired. I can't say enough about the great care I received the nurses were great. I had a private room which I would highly recommend. I hope all the other 25th ladies are doing okaY. I will post more later. Thanks Susan (TAH BSO FOR STAGE IV ENDO WITH SEVERE PELVIC ADHENSIONS WITH BLADDER AND BOWEL INVOLEMENT.

Welcome home Susan! From the sounds of things, you must be very glad to be on the other side of Hyster land.

Welcome home Susan and welcome to the "other side". If you had any doubt before surgery that you were doing the right thing, I guess all that was erased.
Now the only thing you have to concentrate on is healing. NO more painful periods, WOOHOO!
