countdown to surgery begins!!! Now it's on to quit smoking!!!

Tommorrow is my quit smoking day. I'm starting with nicotine patches! Wish me luck!

Tommorrow is my last day at work and my quit smoking cigarettes date. Anyone else going to stop smoking?

Are you going to use nicotine patches or other aid to help in the transition? Going cold turkey will certainly add stress to your already-stressed-out body and mind. I do wish you luck.

Switching to vaping may help too. That way you get a tiny bit of nicotine but none of the carcinogens from smoking. Its been a Godsend for me.

My husband and I used the nicotine patches and they worked great. Unfortunately several weeks into things I developed an allergic reaction (hives) but that was probably due to the fact that I am allergic to the adhesives in certain Band-Aid products. That didn't stop my will to quit, I carried on without the patch and on the 22nd of this month (January) it will 9 glorious months! You can do anything that you set your mind to and we are all here to support you!
