Up and down, up and down

Hi Sisters,

I've been lurking for a while and I really love this place. Just wanted to say hi and ask a question. My surgery date isn't until Oct.12, and I don't think it's on my mind, but wow, am I all over the place emotionally. Part of it is being without ANY hormonal support for the last four months, but really. Crying at commercials, biting off heads, not sleeping well, deliriously happy, deliriously sad, and all of this just about every ten minutes or so. I may be exaggerating just a little bit. How can I do this for 3 more weeks? The times of the chat rooms don't work for me right now, but I do check the message boards frequently. You are all great. Guess I'm just looking for a shoulder. Thanks for all the strong ones here. It's wonderful to meet you.

Teresa (but you can call me tree) ;-)

tree

Welcome to the best place for you to be to get through this with tons of support, encouragement and love!

I go for surgery tomorrow and couldn't have gotten this far without this site. I never feel stupid with any questions, feel free to gripe and vent, and appreciate all the advice and tips I've received from all the sisters.

Hang in there - I think the mood swings, emotions, etc, are all one way to deal with the uncertainity of the upcoming surgery. Some days I've been so calm, I scare myself and then today, I'm a raving basket case! Just remember the end result and how good you will feel when this is all over.

Hugs and warm thoughts,

Jane Elizabeth

Teresa,
We're glad you are here with us. Just keep reading and posting. Make replies as you wish. If the chat room times aren't good for you----------just hang out on the boards.

Believe me, all the emotions that you are going through right now are VERY NORMAL. I know you will make it. Waiting is the toughest part.

Hugs to you,
Patty
