8 weeks post op- belly button incison sooo sore and draining-Also 1st day back @ work

So I really need some advice. I woke up this morning and today was also my first day back at work. In the shower I noticed that my belly button incison (davinci lap assist vaginal hyster) was really red and sore. It was fine when I went to bed last night! I went to work and noticed it hurt when my shirt rubbed on it and when I bent over, etc. I was very puzzled because I must have moved wrong in my sleep to make it so painful when I woke up???

Now this evening I noticed it becoming more red and more irritated. It is VERY sore. I just pulled my shirt up because I noticed my belly is really swollen, and my belly button is draining!! I am scared! So far the drainage appeared watery to-- but then I showed my hubby and he told me to swab it with a q-tip.... the end of the q-tip was yellowish brown after I swabbed it. My incision was healed I thought?? How could it be draining? What did I do wrong? I am worried it could be infected and it's the weekend.... don't want to call the doc on call for this.... any advice? It also hurts a little with movement... I can feel the soreness.

I wanted to add something-- I also have a bad cold or something going on 5 days. I just feel awful. Should I see a doc for the cold too?? I feel horrible all over!

I had something similar. If you have a Fever or just feel awful I'd call this weekend, someone will be on call. You might need antibiotics. Mine was local and just needed antibiotic ointment. Either way I'd call now and see if it can wait or not. Let us know what you find out.
