Post-op Appt.

Hi girls!..l hope all of you are feeling wonderful,or, are starting to! l had my post-op appt today,it went very well but l thought at these visits the doc usually does an exam to see how the healing process is going.My doc didnt do an exam,she only checked my incision...is that normal or does that depend on the doc?..just curious.
Anyways,the pathology report said l had fibroids and adenomyosis.What a relief to finally get an answer!

Mine also just checked the incision (well, the four tiny ones) and removed external stitches. No internal exam, no sonar scan, nothing.
I suppose they also have to abide by the "nothing in the vagina for 6 weeks" rule

Hi ladies

I had a TVH on 3.28.06. At my 2wk post-op my Dr did do an internal exam and a swab. I am supposed to see him in another 4wks. I guess it is different for each Dr. I've seen where some Dr's don't see you until a month after surgery.

Hi Gals,
I had a three week post-op only for incision check. My doc said he would see me in 6 weeks to do a vaginal check and then I could resume relations w/my husband. (that would be 9 weeks!!!!) He smiled and said "tell your husband I said hello". I don't mind the extra wait, but my hubby was disapointed. I'm six weeks post-op this week and doing good. Still have some slight pain when sneezing. Pine pollen in Fl is BAD.
