I feel like a new woman!!

First I have to thank all of you wonderful sisters for all of your advice and support,,,It wouldn't have been as easy as it was without you!!
I am 13 days post-op. I feel fabulous! The only complaint I have is the "overdoing it" results. I do tire easily and my tummy gets a lil sore when i have done too much. The Doctor is thrilled with my progress, but I am still on bed rest.
The Discharge Nurse told me i could do as many stairs as i could stand, my Dr. went nutz when he heard that" NO STAIRS at all!! unless i absolutely have to. Since i cut down on the stairs, I have felt great!! No more pain pills, except my ibuprofen, and an occasional percocet at night if i have gone out that day(Doctors appts). I was told that the waiting was the worst part and boy was that an accurate statement...i was getting wheeled to the OR and the next thing I knew I was being wheeled into my room, it was over!!
The best purchase I made was the "Tummy Pillow" from the Hyster store. It's worth it's weight in gold-lol Good Luck to all who are in the "Waiting Mode" If you care to chat, please e-mail me or send me a private message. I would love to be able to help someone as I was helped here.
