7 weeks post hysterectomy: Sore breasts
Is anyone else having problems with your breasts being very heavy and tender? I'm wondering if its because of a hormone imbalance or if its something I need to have checked out. For the last few days even wearing a bra is driving me nuts and my nipples are sore to the touch.
Any thoughts?

It could very well be hormonal. Did you keep your ovaries? I kept mine and found that since surgery my breasts are heavier and hurt more when I'm ovulating. Before surgery I really couldn't tell when I was ovulating, now I clearly can.

I am 8 weeks out and experiencing this as well. I have fibrocystic tumors which I had before surgery but now it's worse. Of course I am drinking a lot more caffeine which supposedly makes it worse. But yes very heavy and sore.

Ok that's what I figured. I did keep both ovaries. So having things be nutty for a bit is to be expected I guess.
