5 weeks post vaginal hysterectomy: bathing
Good evening ladies. I.hope you are all recovering well. I am just now starting my 5th week post TVH and TOT. I have been recovering extremely well, very minimal discomfort, although I defenitly know when I due too much.
Does anyone know when we could start taking bubble bath. I am dying to sit in a bathtub filled with hot water, it's what I've been deprived of the most lol.
What are your thoughts?

Re: bathing
I would wait until the doctor clears you for bathing. You need to get checked to make sure things are healing properly before you take one, I think to avoid infection.

Re: bathing
Hi AliBella, good to hear that your recovery is going well.
Not sure if you are due for a post op visit with your doctor at 6 weeks but at mine, my Dr. did not want me taking a bubble bath just yet.... she wanted me to wait a few more weeks. Not sure if it had something to do with how my vaginal cuff was healing or what. It would probably be a good idea to call your doctors office and ask to be on the safe side. You wouldn't want to do anything to jeopardize the healing process.
Hope you are staying warm. The countdown to Spring beings... yay, lol
