TAH 9 days post hysterectomy: Numbness around scare & other advice wanted

Hey Sisters!
I had my surgery on 3/18. I got my staples out on the 25th & my dr couldn't believe that just a week before I had surgery! I have been very fortunate to have had a very smooth recovery, I feel fantastic!

My questions are these:

Has anyone had numbness around the incision site?

And question 2:
I've seen the term "outer-course", is 2 weeks after surgery to soon?

Numbness is very common...
Ask your doctor about outercourse since he/she can only tell you if its right for you.
You may need total pelvic rest though.
Personally i would wait till your cleared for intercourse since outercourse can get out of hand (scuze the pun) and also if you orgasm, your muscle tighten up and such and that can impede healing but its up to you and your doctor...
