For those who have had CT scans............

Have you had a CT scan that hide your true issues? I am confused becasue this has happened twice now! After my uterine ablation and ovary removal I was still in alot of pain at 2 months out, they ordered a CT scan it showed absolutlely nothing, I was not convinced I know my body and it was telling me something was wrong so they ordered an internal and external ultrasound and all of a sudden a cyst shows up, fibroids and possible adeno. That is why I was scheduled for the hyster.

Ok so now I have the LAVH still feel "not right" after 3 weeks they perform a CT scan and it is negative again but I still feel pain, can a CT scan be wrong??????

For those who have had CT scans............

Hi CherryKitty

I was surfing the web yesterday and read somewhere that CT scans don't pick up adenomyosis, why I don't know.

Sorry I haven't got any more advise for you - I got my Path results this morning which said that although I had a uterus at 12wk size, internal tissues enlarged, there was no sign of endometriosis or adenomyosis!! But I'm still glad that I had a hysterectomy - the bleeding and anaemia were more than I could cope with.

Hope your recovery picks up soon.
