I have my date now!!

My date is June 12th! I am excited, yet nervous!!!

I am glad that it will all soon be over, now, just time to count down the days!!

Wow, where do I start in getting ready for it?? LOL
I guess a good place to start is getting my house in order!!

Is there anyone else waiting with me until June? It seems like so far away, but I know it will be here before I know it!!

I understand the emotions. Excitement and nervous would have been a good description of my feelings when I finally got my date.

Getting the house in order does help pass the time and can give you a sense of accomplishment at the same time.

Be sure and read the pre-op Hints and Tips and don't forget to subscribe to Checkpoints if you haven't already. I found them very valuable. Reading the Princess Castle Stories can also help you know what you may expect while in the Castle.

Herewegoagain, congratulations! There's nothing like getting "the date", so you know its going to happen! I am not waiting until June, but I am sure I will be able to offer you help when I am on the other side! I think its a little early to start cleaning your house from head to toe..

I'm a June girl too - the 15th if all goes to plan I've known since the beginning of February and the waiting is difficult. I've been keeping myself going by thinking that June/July is a lovely time to recover - we'll be able to sit out and soak up all of that lovely sunlight - we'll be sunshine Well, that's if I get a sunny summer here in the UK

Yes, I think it will be a great time to recover then too! I planned mine for June as I can't have this done while my kids are in school. It would be a lot for my husband and mom to deal with! LOL It will be much easier to do it while they are on summer break, and then they can help me a lot too!!

I think starting this weekend, I am going to start working in my house a little. I need to "spring clean"! I need to paint a couple of rooms and clean out drawers and closets.

I am excited that I'm not the only one that has a while to wait!!
