Post Hysterectomy Bleeding

I am 17 days post op and have been having some very light bleeding. Anyone else have this? Does it finally stop? I had a LSH on April 16th and had no bleeding until a few days ago.

I had an LSH March 27th and had zero bleeding until late in the second week. I had my post-op a little over the third week and was still spotting. My dr said that it was internal stitches dissolving and that it was nothing to worry about. Just pay attention to pain and how much bleeding and what color it is -- if it is brown, if it is pink, if it is bright red, that kind of thing.

My surgeon said I would probably have 'spotting' which could go on for several weeks and I could expect to see threads from stitches at around week 3. He said that the bleeding should not be like a period and if it should increase and become like that it was not normal and I should contact him, I hope this helps.

Thanks! yes, it's been kinda pinkish, so hopefully it will go away with time. Pain has not been bad at all. just aches.
