LAVH: trying to be strong

Hi all new here. I have had increased bleeding over the last year and a half during my cycle and increased pain before, during, after the cycle and it seemed to get worse every month. I finally told my doctor about it when it got too bad. ultrasound showed a polyp in my c section scar and proved my left ovary is painful. had an attempted D&C and was going to do an ablation in late Dec but could not due to massive amounts of scar tissue (JOY!). The last 2 cycles have been horrific. Percocet and me are really good friends right now. Scheduled for a hysterectomy at the end of March. hoping for laprascopic but may end up with an abdominal. (I had a leep done in 2003 and I do not have much cervix left). scared i will have to have abdominal but glad i have it scheduled. My husband and I both thinks it will end up being abdominal. Not sure what hospital stay is like for that. my doc says 1 night for LAVH. The worst part about this is the frustration of not knowing how much it is going to cost me. hospital cannot tell me much and insurance wont tell me anything.
