5 months post TAH and still swelling

I am 5 months post op and I am having really bad abdominal swelling-any one else out there having this problem!

I had some swelling for most of the first year. And the more I did during the day, the more I would swell. I found mine to be gone in the mornings after resting well, and back at night after a busy day.
There is still a lot of internal healing going on, and activity will cause the swelly belly.
Ask your doctor if you have discomfort with it or any new symptoms.

I'm around 4 1/2 months and I still swell, especially at night. If I have been more active than usual, I also start to swell. I'm told this is normal.

My TAH/BSO was also about 4 1/2 months ago, and I still experience swelly belly, and it seems to be related to increased activity. Even when not active, as just after a night's sleep, my belly still does not return to pre-hysterectomy size. I wouldn't call my swelling really bad, but it's apparent.
