Home from the castle

Well,it's 12:22 pm my time and I just got home .Surgery went well on Friday,I was in by 8:10 am and back in my room by 10:45. I was weirdly affected by the anesthesia as I was wide awake and buzzy til 5:30 pm when I finally fell asleep. The first thing I remember saying back in my room was did you get the number of the Mack truck that hit me.Nurses there were awesome ,gave me back rubs and massages.Food was tolerable and now that I am home ,I am eating a teen burger.I am so glad to be home. Thanks for listening

It's good to hear that you're home and doing well.
Be a good princess, get lots of rest, take slow easy walks

Glad to hear you are home...the best place to heal! Pamper yourself and don't be afraid to ask for help. I was bad at that at first..I wanted to pick things up and do things I had no business doing. But little by little life became more "normal". I sure have no regrets! Waiting was the worst by far! Take care of yourself and enjoy these weeks of rest....they speed by far too fast!

Take it easy & rest, I'm day 4 home & haven't done a darn thing - showering is a major accomplishment

Welcome Home! Do exactly what your doctor says and you will heal... Drink lots of water and don't go up the stairs until your doctor says its okay.
