dVH/RALH Concerns about cuff

I am soon to have my 6 week check. I assume i will be cleared for marital relations soon. Any input on the vaginal cuff situation? It just kinda scares me and creeps me out a bit. How does it feel? Is it still like a living breathing part of your body? I mean it just ends.. Its not connected to anything any more. Does it still feel much like it did before? My husband and i were healthy and active in that regard so it is very important. I know we need to lubricate. Without that would it be totally dry? Sorry for all the personal questions. I felt so bad and had bled so much before surgery and it all happened so fast. I didnt think about any of this beforehand. I just wanted it over. Thanks ahead of time for any responses!

I was cleared for sex on July 19th and I was like you - scared about how it was going to feel, if it was going to hurt etc. I haven't actually had to use lubrication as my body still reacts - I do have lube on hand though just in case.

TMI but I feel okay sharing here - I had to go and investigate for myself so one day I had a feel around and even though it just ends, it really just ended before.

Sex the first time was a little stressful but only because I was a little stressed. I made my husband go very slow and asked him that if I felt any discomfort if we could stop. I didn't feel discomfort and I have still be able to have orgasms without any issue. I did have a couple of internal stitches that had not dissolved yet and they actually poked and rubbed him.

We took it as an opportunity to get to re-explore one another and see how my "new" body works. (I did have a glass of wine before hand because I was nervous LOL).

My husband says he can't feel anything different either
