Thanks for all the good thoughts. Its so nice to know So many have gone through this before me and come out fine on the other side.It really helps to keep this in perspective.

Had a weird experience yesterday and I'm really scared now!!! Went to the Dr. for my pre-op and he was running 2 hrs behind schedule. One month ago he had said that he was going to do a Lap Assist Vaginal Hyst, however, yesterday, he said Lap Hyster with No Vaginal. He was rushed and short with me. He was frustrated that I was on the internet for information and basically disregarded all information that I had learned from my Hystersisters!!!

Dr. said that you cannot "Fart" out the gas!!! I was shocked. He said that the body would absorb the gas. He said no GasX and he would not give me anything to calm me down before I go to the hospital (I asked for Xanax).

Then he sent me over to the hospital to register and do the pre-op testing. He had discussed a EKG and Chest X-Ray, however, at the hospital, they said that he didn't check the boxes for these tests. The hospital only drew my blood and then sent me home because it was too late to contact the Dr.

I came home really confused!!! I cannot cancel this surgery, because I just cannot take the pain/bleeding anymore. I'm starting my period today and cannot even take Motrin!!! Just waiting for this to be over.

Any thoughts? I really need some support.....
