On my way...nervous as hell

I am 36 years old and am scheduled for a hysterectomy on July 5. I am fine with the decision but I am not looking forward to the unknown. My life is fairly orderly and controlled and this removes my control for a few weeks.

The doctor can't actually find anything truly wrong with me but says it would cost more to find out what is wrong than to just remove the issue that is causing the pain.

Here goes nothing....
