Surgery canceled Due to hurricane.

Hey, I was just wondering if there are any other unlucky sisters out there that had their surgery canceled because of Hurricane Ivan. Mine got canceled the day before surgery. I got the call right after I got home from pre-op registration. Now I have to wait a whole month. Ugh.

sorry to hear about the delay. waiting is so nerve racking. i send my best wishes to all of you that have been effected by the hurricaine. i know that our power company sent electical workers to florida to get you guys up and running. my BIL has been in Florida for over a week now.

I'm so glad you're OK - our area here was hit by both Charley and Frances, and the devastation has been unbelievable!! I do know of one other member whose surgery was postponed because of Frances - you might want to post on the Florida Neighborhood Forum , too.

Be sure to update your profile to include your new surgery date, when you get it. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers for a successful surgery and uneventful recovery.

We were without power for 8 days after Charley, and we all really appreciated the help that we got from other utility companies - they worked so hard to help get us up again. Please pass along my deepest appreciation and thanks to your BIL and his crew.

my surgery wasn't post poned due to Ivan , but my DH was. He was down there working in Fl. and now he is in Alaabama. All I keep praying for is that everyone will soon have there power back up and running so all the guys can come home.
