Gas!

I had a c-section 17 years ago, the only post-op discomfort was the gas! the nurses kept telling me to walk it off. I could not. Finally, my best friend was with me and she told the nurse to give me an enema. After days of pain, instant relief! Will I experience the same discomfort?

Gas!

You are going to have gas issues so just be prepared. I took Gas-X to the hospital with me as the stuff they give you really doesn't do much good. I did ask my doc if it was okay for me to take it and he said not only is it okay but he would recommend it. Yes, tho, you do HAVE to walk. Although you may not think so at the time......it will help you to feel better.

Gas!

I had a total laparoscopic hysterectomy yesterday. I knew gas would be a problem after surgery but I didn't realize how much there would be. I started having gas pains about 2 AM and then started passing gas about 4 AM. That helped the pain a lot. Walking helped even more. I'm still passing a lot of gas. That's a nuisance but not too bad.

Gas

Did your nurse give you something to help pass? I remember this one specific nurse that would not help me. I was in agony! I was walking up and down the halls, no luck! I bought some Gas X to bring with me.
