Calling all Sisters!

I have horrible back pain with my periods that occur every two weeks. I also am tired all the time, am cold all the time, I sleep all the time, have very dry skin. I did some research on hypothyroidism and seems I have a lot of those symptoms. I told my dr. and he had a thryroid test included with pre-op. Am waiting on the results.

Calling all Sisters!

Hi Sunnie,
Forgive me if I got your name wrong. This was a great question you asked. I have had back problems with pregnancies and then with periods too since 1996. I never could have put it all together and realized it was related to my crumpy uterus until I found HysterSisters. Soon I hope mine will be much better, like after Monday soon! But I went to chiropractors for years until one day I was in lower back pain and it cramping down my leg muscles and I sucked in my stomach ... instant relief. This is all before I got help with the uterine problems. So I started doing lots of crunches and core exercises and getting physically fit over all. It helped but come period time, my back would still go out. Then a chiro. talked to my husband about his back and gave him stretches. Now I do the back stretches to help ( not heal ) the muscle cramping, the back still wants to go out but not as much. So I guess I'm saying there are temporary helps you can do now, but hopefully it will all be better once your out of the castle, like me. Here's hoping for our complete healing. Lynn
