AF and sick and surgery is sceduled for the May 8th!

Well I woke up Monday to a scratchy, dry throat and a dry, hacking cough. Well yesterday morning it was a little worse, still mostly dry hacking coughing...but more frequent. I called my doc and they called in a Z-pack of Zithromax antibiotics and started them last night. I got up this morning and am still coughing a lot, just getting up a very little amount when I cough.

So then I get up and go to the bathroom and have AF appear almost full force without any prior notice....I was hoping to avoid meeting the hag again before my surgery.....but this coughing brought her on I guess.

I am praying that my surgery goes through as planned. My pre-op appt. is not until Friday afternoon. I guess I will hope that I am better by Friday. Anybody get a cough like this and then still have surgery as planned 5 days later (well 7 days from when I first got sick)?????

I had a cough and told my doctor at my clearance physical. She still passed me as in good health...I still had the surgery. Of course everyone and everycough is different. I wish you well.

AF and sick and surgery is sceduled for the May 8th!

I had a bit of the sniffles and was put on meds about a week or so before my hyst. My dr said that unless I was running a fever surgery would go as planned. I wasn't and my surgery went as scheduled. I'll add my good wishes and prayers that all will go well for you.
