offically nervous-had pre op call today

So I had my pre op call from the hospital this morning. Scheduled for surgery next Thursday. Some how that phone call made it feel offical and made me nervous. Waiting another week will be tough. I forgot about the fun of not being able to eat anything but clear liquids the day before and nothing the day of the surgery. I was planning on working that day but no food might make me cranky. Just looking for a few words of support to calm me down.

I got the same call today! My pre op appointment is tomorrow and they wanted me to be sure I was on time and I knew when my surgery was.. Even though I have known all this for weeks. So yeah.. its suddenly very real! I am no more nervous than I was yesterday. I got off the phone and my first thought was "wow.. this thing is really going to happen"

I am supposed to be on bed rest.. but I am getting anxious, so I am planning on doing some light sewing.

We are going to be ok ..

I keep reminding myself they do these surgeries all the time..just look at the daily list of surgies on this site. I find alot of comfort in that.
