Wait or not to wait??

My Gyn doc hasn't called back yet, but my internal med doc says to go with surgery asap. I have 2 complex cysts, one ruptured a couple of days ago. My left ovary has both of them and the ovary is double the size of my right ovary. My endometrial stripe is 7mm. Not sure exactly what all of this means yet and I am scared waiting. My body is very sensitive to surgery and doesn't heal well. Have had problems with surgery before with tearing. I am only 26 but am done having children, my body can not take another pregnancy. Should I rush into surgery or wait to see what happens since one of the cysts has ruptured already.

You should never rush into surgery unless it is a emergency!! I would wait for your gyn to call and ask him if there are other alternatives, 26 is very young to lose your ovaries. There may be a chance he can just remove the cysts and leave your ovaries. Take your time and talk to your doctor and see what he/she has to say and if your not comfortable with that, then seek another opinion. Research all your options, a hysterectomy can't be undone, so make sure you are as sure as sure can be (say that 10 times real fast, lol).
