2 Week Post-op Appointment Question
I had a TAH done on 1/15/08 with endometreosis/adhesions found on cervix, uterus, and bladder. I am scheduled for my 2 week appointment on 1/31/08 and was wondering from others who have already had their 2 week appt. what to expect for my 2 week appt. Any replies would be helpful. I have internal sutures and had steri strips across my bikini line (same incision used for my previous 2 c-sections) which just finished coming off today. Incision feels ok except for a little hardened area on the right side of it. Any ideas if this is normal or anything to worry about? Thanks for your responses.

2 Week Post-op Appointment Question
When I went they only checked my incision. I had a half pencil size hard area on the right side of my incision that has now soften and almost gone.

2 Week Post-op Appointment Question
I had my TAH on DEC.5th. When I had my 2 week check up all my doctor did was check my incision, and ask me a lot of questions about how I was feeling, what my pain level was,did I have any spotting...just questions in that area. I was examined internally at my 6 week check up...and it didn't hurt at all. Just make sure and tell your doctor about the area on your incision and any other questions you might have. God bless you and I hope you recovery goes well.
Faith
TAH on Dec.5th. due to larger fibroids, heavy bleeding, enlarged uterus, and severe anemia
