Question-Incision Care

Ok guys so all the surgical glue has come off, my belly button and bikini incision look great. In comparison my hip incision looks very red, raised and angry (it doesn't hurt) I did notice at the center of the incision there appears to be a very small amount of pus.

Should I put Neosporin on it, or call the doc or am I worrying for no reason? lol

Re: Question-Incision Care

my doctor had prescribed Fucidin upon hospital discharge. I would call the doctor to see what is suggested.

Re: Question-Incision Care

I would call the doc - they may want to look at it... My doc said to keep them clean and dry - she did have on my post-op list of things to have in the house - hydrogen peroxide and q-tips... I would try that before i would try a cream just because - cream stays on, keeps it moist, and could collect dirt etc...
