6 wk check up

i went for my 6 wk check up today and my dr said eveything was healed inside but non of my stitches feom my cuff came out. So 3 more weeks no sex. Has anyone else heard this happening and should i be worried?

I'm at seven weeks and my stitches are just dissolving now. My doctor said that he uses stronger suturing thread than most doctors do so they dissolve at 6 to 8 weeks. I'm restricted for two more weeks too. Maybe your doctor uses the stronger stitches also.

Tried sex at 7 weeks and it hurt so much we stopped. I wish I had a doctor's excuse! Just kidding...we'll take it slow and try again. Good luck on your healing!

Not an issue that your stitches haven't dissolved. Could be you are a slower healer or it was stronger thread.

This will eventually resolve.
