dVH/RALH Woot on the other side

Yay I made it. Less than twenty four hours ago- heck less than 12 I was in possession of an angry uterus. Now I'm just in possession of some nasty pain and blissful blissful naps. Morphine was great, norco doesn't appear to have robbed me of the ability to think so yay there too!

Just did a small victory lap after they gave me my green socks (no fall risk). But so so thirsty still

Good news. Hope the recovery continues with no problems.

Yay! We made it!

Me too. So excited for it to be over. Surgery was at 720 yesterday am and by 430 I was home to relax. Congrats to us to making it to the other side. Best wishes to all the January 14th Princesses. Now it's time to take it easy and heal.

How are you doing? I was hoping to see you pop up here I'm home now, sore and gassy (which hurts more than anything else). Gas x doesn't seem to be touching it. Tired but not nearly as bad off as I thought I would be. I got my pictures

That's awesome. They had me scheduled to stay overnight which is fine, this hospital is fantastic and takes amazing care of us whenever we have to be there.

What's your home set up for the first few days?

Glad to hear from you too! How did everything go for you? Mine went slick as a whistle. I was out and up before I knew it. Got to see the machine before I went out though so that was kind of cool.
