Upset

. I woke up this morning in a whole lot of pain. Not even on the right side, it was on the left. I was very shocked. I have hardly ever had the pain on the left before. I went to work. I was hurting a lot and of course we were very busy. I was supposed to leave at 1:00

But I left at 2:20. I made it to my car and cried, I was in so much pain. It is now 11:55 and I just took my 3rd dose of vicodin (not spelled right, oh well).

So since 2:20 I have had 3000 mg of medication. I am so sore. I cried for about 45 minutes. I don’t know if I will make it to the 18 th.

Hold on sweetie(((((HUGS)))))...it won't be long..just remember it's only 10 days away. Just keep telling yourself to take it one day at a time. Try to put a heating pad on it when you can. I realize that's ahrd to do when you're at work. Let your work know that you are really hurting too, and that you need their support.
I'll be praying for you.

I would call the dr if you are taking that much Vicodin!

Thank you. My work has been great through all this. I actually got yelled at today because even though I am in so much pain I stood all day and did haircut after haircut and a perm. My boss keeps telling me to rest but its hard when only 2 stylists are on and its busy. all of them are already picking up the slack from me. I feel as though I just started doing hair even though I have been doing it for 14 years. I am so sore that I move like a snail.

My dr is the one who prescibed it to me. I started out a few mo ago on 500mg total as needed (250 mg ea. pill) But after I ended up in the hosp 2 wks ago they uped it. They tried saying it was due to bowel, but I knew my pain. cleansed that system any way and still have pain. My husband has been great as my beautiful daughter.. Thank you for helping though. I am trying to stick it out the best I can...

Very sorry to hear that you're in so much pain. Call your Dr, there may have been some cancellations and you might could be worked in sooner than the 18th. You never know till you ask.

I know how you feel!The other day I had an episode of extreme pain also! My surgery is the 21st and can't come soon enough!I keep spotting bright red blood that then turns to the brown discharge then whopper cramps proceding! One thing is that with the pain building up I know I am doing the right thing about getting the hyster and all I can think about is getting the darn thing out of me instead of all the other fears I have with surgery.I am sure they will surface as time draws closer but right now I want this diseased pain causing rotton lump of flesh gone!!LOL just a little sick of pain.WHEW that felt good! Contact your doctor. I was on vicodin for several months and then realized it just wasn't helping enough anymore. I asked my doctor and he said sometimes our bodies start to become almost immune to the pain meds, he switched me over to darvocet and it made a BIG difference for awhile. You never know until you ask, but if the dr doesn't know u r still hurting he can't do anything to help. My prayers are with you.
