Can u tell me how I make my own thread or post. Im a little confused . Im pre surgery and I have some questions

When you get on the site on the main page, go to Forums, and then Hysterectomy Pre-op from the drop down menu (or click on this link: Hysterectomy Pre-op). Then click on New Topic, and then type in your post.

I am glad to hear you all express the same things I am feeling. I am 52 and having a LAVH removing everything on July 7. I was tired of going in every year and having a DNC for fibroid/polyps. Also, a large percentage of my home town high school classmates have had female cancer so it seemed like a logical answer. I started having menopause symptoms at age 39. But now, I am questioning my reasoning and remembering my C-Section recovery from many years ago. And yes, scared about going under and pain management due to lack of an enzyme that processes many types of drugs. All my doctors know this but it does not make it easier somehow on nerves. Dixie

I think part of my issue is that mine is to see what the uterine mass is so I am anxious about the surgery and whether something will go wrong and I'm also nervous about the biopsy.. I'm not having a lot of issues but thankful it was found. Understand take it all out for preventive but seems extreme at the same time.

I am in the same boat...the biopsy is what makes me nervous too
