TAH So depressed right now

I need to vent, Im sorry....I had my tahbso on apr 3 I feel like im going stir crazy in the house I feel like im so tired of this abcess and feeling weak at times. I am tired of being in this house. I don't want to eat from boredom and I am walking and doing things around the house im just sooo *****y and bored. I feel like a good cry and nothing comes out. Im worried that this hole in my abdomen is not going to heal. I just worry over everything. About getting back to work on time. Can I do my job. As I am in health care and take care of ppl. thanks for listening.

Going stir crazy is definitely normal, right now. I've only been down a week so I can't even imagine what you're going through. Since you mentioned that you take care of people, that tells me that a LOT of your trouble is that you, my dear, are a giver and not use to having to be a taker
I'm the same way, but did not take that as my career, so mine is minor compared to yours.
Can I ask what it is that you do?
If you are in an area that you're expected to lift or help patients, physically, it may take a while to get back to that.
I started sitting outside when I start feeling closed in. It helps to get fresh air and hear the world keep going around me

All that you are feeling is normal. In another two weeks you will feel a lot better. As hard as it is, try to bed down, and rest and let your body heal. I know how you are feeling. Walk when you can, and maybe each day build on to that.
Don't over-do, or you will end up back at square one. Read, watch movies, rest, sleep, walk, and in two weeks I guarantee you will feel differently.
