Hysterectomy: September 24th, 2010

Surgery Type: TVH

Chance of Retocele

I will be having a LAVH/BSO/TVT/Cystocele repair on September 24th. I have also been diagnosed with a slight retocele and was wondering if my surgery would increase the risk of the retocele prolapsing further.

I will be having the same surgery plus rectocele repair.
My rectocele is not as bad as the uterine prolapse and cystocele.My doctor said that my rectocele would probably be worse if the uterus wasn't in the way.
