Question about showering

I showered the first week then got a no shower order at my first check up because I wasn't healing. My no shower order lasted almost 3 weeks. So I used dry shampoo the first week, then started washing my hair in the sink.

Oh! Yikes. My first check up is tomorrow. I hope I can still shower!!! I didn't realize there was a possibility of not being able to. How does a shower inhibit healing?

My incision was red, angry & oozing. Tried to keep it as dry as possible but apparently didn't do enough.

Ok gotcha...that makes sense! I have tried to keep them dry too. I guess I will find out tomorrow if they look ok. It's hard for me to judge...I think they are alright but my Doctor will be the best judge of that
