Hot flashes

Can anyone out there who have had a hotflash explain to me what that's like? I had a very cold strange feeling running through my body the other day.. could this be one?

We all are a little different with our hot flashes. My hot flashes come on as either a warm or very intense warm sensation to my upper body, followed by a chill. I find that some of the time I get just a chill, but this may be because the warmth preceding it was very mild.

I hope this is all that you expercience with them .

My face feels hot and flushed and I sweat alot when I am having a hot flash. I hope this helps.

Hot flash comes over my body instantly -- extremely hot all over, break out in a sweat in an instant. Desperate grabbing for something to fan myself with! It's miserable for just a few minutes, then goes away just as quickly. Mysterious human body! Good luck!

It depends. I would get really hot and sweat and then chill. I chilled so bad that my teeth would chatter..... Then at night, the nightsweats were bad. i remember getting up and changing nighties about 3 times. Thank god those are over with.
